Becky Flynn was one of the very best girls basketball players ever to play the game in South Dakota. She was indeed a standout basketball player but also a great track star. Here are just a few of her on court accomplishments: South Dakota Career Leading Scorer from 1991-2008 with 3268 points; First Team All State “B” Tourney 1988 – 1991; Six year starter for Wakonda High School; member of Wakonda’s 3 straight Championship Teams; Part of 101 game winning streak from 1988 – 1991; 1992 South Dakota Female Athlete of the Year; 1992 Miss South Dakota Basketball. After her many accomplishments in high school she went on to star at Div 1 Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Becky still lives in South Dakota and works at the USD. Becky Flynn Jensen will be inducted into the South Dakota High School Basketball Hall of Fame on 27 March 2010.
